Thanks for following ZenFri on twitter. I’m wondering if you’d be interested in covering our recently released mobile title Clandestine: Anomaly. The game is an award-winning, location-based augmented reality game created in Winnipeg by ZenFri Inc., a creative arts company I founded with my wife, Danielle King. The most unique feature of the game is that it take a tower defense style gameplay and incentives playing outside by making game levels occur at real world locations.
While there is a lot of hype about VR, our project has really becoming internationally recognized as one of the first serious attempts to create an AR game.

Though we’re a small indie studio, the project has had the help of major game industry veterans like Gears of War / Spider-Man / Star Wars writer, Joshua Ortega, lead designer on Ultima Online, Dark Ages of Camelot and Warhammer Online, Lori Hyrup, and even some concept art by Star Wars comic graphic artist, Doug Wheatley as well as Chris Bourassa of Darkest Dungeons fame.
We've recently been nominated by The Tech Expo under the "Most innovative use of AR 2015" and our early prototypes have already won acclaim, winning the GamAR award for Best Augmented Reality game at InsideAR in Munich, and has been featured in panels or talks in conferences around the world including Augmented World Expo (Silicon Valley), Gamelab (Barcelona), InsideAR (Munich), StoryDrive (Frankfurt) Germany and Barcelona.
