stayZen is a cross genre adventure physics game. There are 80 unique levels in 8 Parts. The central concept is to move 'enzo' towards the seed at the end of the line, while avoiding obstacles and remain touching a dotted the line. If you hit an obstacle, or if you move off the line, you lose and need to restart the level.
There are 8 'Parts' in the game, each with 10 levels and their own style, opponents, background music, and unique challenges. For example, Part 7, 'Intellectus' foregoes obstacles and instead involves solving complex puzzles to unlock the seed from a box. Or part 5, 'Below the Root', takes place underground and the player's visual scope is restricted,
stayZen has a unique method for player control. The enzo is controlled through quick swipe motions which floats and propels the player through the air. Gravity pulls the enzo down, so there needs to be a constant balance of motion. To build momentum, the player would need to continuously swipe in one direction.
The levels progressively get harder as the learning curve for the movement control advances. However, there is not the same sense of frustration in losing, since each level is quick to complete and the player never has to start all over again. An experienced gamer could probably finish the game in about two hours but of course game progression is saved.
There are other additional features to the game. Each 10th level is a boss fight. When you complete the level, a different enzo unlocks and you have the option of changing players.
There are two versions of the game - one free with ads, one paid without. Interstitial ads pop up after a player has lost three times in a row, and after they successfully pass certain levels.
