Strategic "build & fight" game by the lead designer of "This War of Mine"
“Build & Fight” multiplayer for mature players. Build your own War Machine, join combat and win the battle using tactics and strategy.
Become a War Builder – construct your perfect Machine out of basic components and enlist it in a multiplayer, strategic match. If you like constructing and appreciate tactical team play, this is a game for you!
War Builder League will be a free game – no pay2win, paid DLC or monetization to ruin the player’s experience and the game’s balance. We will introduce a formula similar to the present monetization in “League of Legends”.
The game will be available for Windows, Mac OS and Linux systems. We are designing it so that system requirements will be as low as possible.
Build your own War Machine out of basic components – you can design it exactly the way you want. Use legs to build a walking Machine, attach caterpillar tracks to move about in difficult terrain or wings to take off to the skies. Design an optimal armor arrangement and configure the weapons of your choice. You may combine the elements the way you prefer – be creative and build unique War Machines which will dominate the battlefield. Predict your unit’s behavior in combat and adapt the design to your chosen strategy.
We have developed an intuitive, easy to learn building interface. In the hangar there are screens which display detailed statistics of individual components and the whole Machine.
You will win provided that your War Machine is effective and your teammates support one another and fight strategically. Battles in War Builder League were designed to be both team-based and tactical.
The match consists of taking over strategic points which provide the team with specific advantages (e.g. faster repair of damaged units).
The map encourages use of various tactics and mechanics. A sharp-shooter will find a good firing position and a walking Machine will efficiently move through ruins where a wheeled vehicle would get stuck. The ability to travel through underground corridors gives the unit an advantage over aircraft.
Planning, team playing and strategy are more important in a match than “skill” and eye-hand coordination.
